Heavy Diesel Fitter
- Join a new site and team at Rolleston as a Heavy Diesel Fitter.
- Work on a fleet of heavy mining equipment including CAT trucks and dozers.
- Diagnose faults and perform maintenance while ensuring safety standards.
Emeco is expanding at Rolleston, located approximately 3½ hours from Rockhampton, and we’re looking for experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join us as we establish a new site and team.

About the Role
- Working on fleet of CAT 777F Trucks, D10 Dozers, EX1200 Diggers, 16M Graders and 777 Watercart
- Diagnosing faults and completing planned, breakdown and preventative maintenance.
- Carrying out high-quality repairs while identifying potential issues before failure.
- Working autonomously while supporting the team and maintaining strong safety standards.
- Taking ownership of your work and accurately completing maintenance records.
What We're Looking For
- Australian recognised Heavy Diesel trade qualification and relevant mining experience.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills across large-scale mining equipment.
- Ability to work autonomously, make sound decisions and take ownership of your work.
- Safety-first mindset with a strong focus on quality workmanship and teamwork.
- Australian Driver’s Licence and ability to pass a pre-employment medical and National Police Check.
