The Firm:

Due to sustained growth, the firm is seeking a Construction & Major Projects Partner or a Special Counsel ready to step into partnership to join its expanding National Projects & Infrastructure team.
The Opportunity:
You will work closely with several market-leading partners on major private sector and government infrastructure projects across Australia as well as have your clients supported by highly competent Back-end Construction Partners. Key areas of your work will include:
- Major transport, energy, health and education infrastructure projects
- Some Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs)
- Construction contracts and complex project advisory
- Procurement and tender processes
- Project structuring, delivery models and risk management strategies
This role offers significant leadership scope, direct client engagement, and the opportunity to transfer and grow your own practice to a nationally recognised platform and a cohesive projects team.
Candidate Profile:
Our client is seeking an adequately experienced practitioner of 12–20+ years PAE in front-end Construction Law and or Major Projects.
You will be recognised by your peers as a specialist in your field and your client profile will be sound by having established relationships with institutional players in this market segment, including Tier 1 and or Tier 2 contractors.
You will also be a commercially minded individual with strong client management skills and a proven ability to mentor and develop teams.
Salary & Partnership Pathway
As a seasoned lawyer you will want to be recognised for your skillset as well as what you bring to the table. As a guide, in this role you can expect to earn $450K+ performance bonuses as a Salaried Partner or $750K to $2M+ as an Equity Partner subject to your fees under management. Special Counsel are sitting around $350K.
The firm offers a clear and transparent equity structure as well as strong operational and business development support, allowing partners to focus on client relationships and practice growth.
