Manager - Project Finance / Modeler

A global energy and infrastructure business is seeking a skilled Project Finance professional to join their Sydney-based team. This role will lead project and structured financing activities Australia wide working closely with debt and equity providers to support financing, investment, and M&A transactions and help maintain third party financing relationships.
Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex financial models to support project development, financing, and investment decisions
• Support debt financing solutions for renewable energy and energy storage projects
• Contribute to M&A activities, including financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence
• Support broader finance activities including budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, and other financial stakeholders

About You

• 8+ years' experience in project finance, corporate finance, and/or M&A / divestment
• Advanced financial modelling — PE-grade skills, with the ability to build complex models (three-statement, LBO/project finance structures, scenario and sensitivity analysis)
• Prior exposure to renewable energy, infrastructure, or utility-scale project financing highly regarded
• Experience with debt financing, bank models, or transaction due diligence
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Engineering
• Full working rights in Australia required
