About the Role
As a Registered Midwife, you will provide safe, high-quality, woman-centred care across a variety of maternity settings while working collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Your experience may include:
- Antenatal care
- Birth Suite and labour ward
- Postnatal care
- Special Care Nursery
- Women’s health and maternity services
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care
- Supporting women throughout labour and birth
- Monitoring maternal and fetal wellbeing
- Delivering newborn assessments and postnatal support
- Providing breastfeeding education and guidance
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Adhering to hospital policies and best-practice standards
About You To be successful, you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
- Direct Entry Midwives and Dual Registered RN/RM applicants encouraged to apply
- Minimum 2 years recent midwifery experience or a Postgraduate Qualification in Midwifery
- Experience across a range of maternity care settings
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Current National Police Check
- Full Australian working rights
