Position: Warehouse Team Leader
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Moorebank.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can confidently lead a warehouse team, manage daily operations, maintain high safety and quality standards, and ensure productivity targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead warehouse staff, including allocating daily tasks and monitoring performance.
Provide training, support, and guidance to team members.
Coordinate daily warehouse operations to meet productivity and customer deadlines.
Ensure stock is accurately received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched.
Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with stock control.
Maintain high standards of quality and minimize picking, packing, and dispatch errors.
Monitor warehouse KPIs, productivity, order accuracy, and turnaround times.
Ensure all workplace health and safety procedures are followed.
Conduct safety checks and promote a safe working environment.
Identify and resolve operational issues, workflow bottlenecks, and equipment problems.
Ensure warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is operated safely and correctly.
Complete operational and staff performance reports as required.
Communicate effectively with management and other departments, including transport, purchasing, production, and customer service.
Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in a warehouse leadership or supervisory role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good organization and time-management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is highly regarded.
Good understanding of inventory control and warehouse processes.
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Basic computer and reporting skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
A hands-on approach and the ability to lead by example.
Shift Availability
AM and PM shifts available.
