ILS Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist to support a Defence project on a short-term, part-time engagement.

Engagement Details:

• 88-day engagement

• Part-time - approximately 2-3 days per week

• Canberra-based Defence environment

• Active NV2 security clearance required

• Immediate start or up to two weeks' notice

Candidates with Defence experience across ILS, sustainment, logistics engineering, asset management, technical documentation and capability support are encouraged to apply.

ICT Solutions Integration & Systems Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineering / ICT Integration professional to support the integration and delivery of ICT solutions within a complex Defence environment.

Engagement Details:

• 220-day engagement with potential 6-month extension option

• Canberra-based Defence project

• Active NV2 security clearance required

• Immediate start or up to two weeks' notice

Infrastructure Engineers / Systems Administrators - NV2 & TSPV Cleared

Federal Government Opportunities | Canberra & Melbourne | Multiple Positions

PERSOL is currently recruiting for four exciting ICT opportunities within Federal Government, seeking experienced Infrastructure Engineers, Systems Administrators, Wintel Engineers and Senior Systems Engineers to support critical infrastructure, cloud and cyber security projects.

Contract Details

• Location: Canberra, ACT / Melbourne, VIC (role dependent)

• Contract: 12 months + 2 x 12-month extension options

• Estimated Start Date: 1 February 2027

• Working Arrangements: Onsite, up to 40 hours per week

• Level: APS6 to EL1 Equivalent

• Security Clearance: Current NV2 or TSPV (depending on the role)

Available Opportunities

1. Senior Systems Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer - Linux & Kubernetes (TSPV)

• Minimum 5 years' Linux administration experience.

• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker and OpenSearch.

• Experience with VMware virtualisation and cloud environments.

2. Senior Systems Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer - VMware & Networking (TSPV)

• Minimum 5 years' Linux administration experience.

• Expertise in VMware, VMware Aria and infrastructure management.

• Strong networking knowledge, including VLANs, DNS, load balancers and firewalls.

• Experience with sandboxed environments and developer tooling.

3. Senior Systems Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer - EL1 (TSPV)

• Strong experience in IT infrastructure, systems design and availability management.

• Experience with UNIX-based systems, automation and cloud technologies.

• Ability to support complex systems, infrastructure deployment and technical troubleshooting.

4. Wintel Infrastructure/ Cyber security Engineer - APS6 (NV2 or TSPV)

• Minimum 5 years' technical cyber security experience.

• Experience with enterprise systems security and Essential Eight controls.

• Strong scripting and automation capabilities.

• Experience with Active Directory security, Azure or AWS highly regarded.

Eligibility & Application

Candidates must hold a current NV2 or TSPV security clearance, depending on the opportunity.

Technical requirements vary across the four roles, so candidates are not expected to meet every skill listed above.

Shortlisted candidates may be required to provide written selection criteria responses and complete additional suitability assessments.
