Infinity Coordination & Supports is looking for an experienced Rostering Coordinator to join our team and support the coordination of disability supports across Albury/Wodonga and surrounding areas.

This role is suited to someone who has managed large-scale rosters, understands the pressure of changing participant needs and staff availability, and can work confidently within the SCHADS Award.

This is not an entry-level rostering role. The successful applicant will need to be confident managing complex rosters and coordinating a workforce of approximately 80 support staff.

The Role

As Rostering Coordinator, the role is responsible for building and maintaining rosters that support safe, consistent, and participant-centred service delivery.

This includes coordinating support worker schedules, responding to roster changes, managing leave and availability, and ensuring supports are rostered in line with participant needs, funding, service agreements, and operational requirements.

Experience in the NDIS is highly regarded, especially experience building a roster of care for SIL, in-home supports, or community access.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain staff rosters across SIL, in-home supports, community access, and other disability support settings
  • Coordinate approximately 80 support workers across changing participant and operational needs
  • Ensure shifts are filled appropriately, safely, and in line with participant support requirements
  • Apply practical knowledge of the SCHADS Award, including minimum engagements, breaks between shifts, overtime risks, sleepovers, active overnights, weekend work, and public holidays
  • Maintain accurate roster records and communicate changes clearly to staff, participants, families, and internal teams where required
  • Monitor staff availability, leave, absences, and unplanned changes
  • Assist with building rosters of care for participants, including SIL and complex support environments
  • Identify rostering gaps, risks, and inefficiencies early and escalate appropriately
  • Work closely with management, team leaders, and support coordination/operations teams to maintain continuity of supports
  • Use rostering and communication systems accurately and consistently

What We’re Looking For

The successful applicant will be:

  • Experienced in large-scale rostering or workforce scheduling
  • Confident coordinating rosters for a workforce of around 80 staff or similar scale
  • Strong in SCHADS Award interpretation and practical roster compliance
  • Highly organised, calm under pressure, and able to manage competing priorities
  • A clear communicator who can deal professionally with staff, participants, families, and managers
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where rosters can change quickly
  • Confident using rostering systems, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and general admin software
  • Able to balance staff availability, participant needs, continuity of support, and compliance requirements

Highly Regarded

  • Experience in the NDIS sector
  • Experience rostering SIL, sleepovers, active overnights, and complex support arrangements
  • Understanding of rosters of care, service agreements, participant funding, and continuity of supports
  • Experience with ShiftCare or similar rostering software
  • Experience working with high-volume shift changes, leave coverage, and last-minute backfill

What We Offer

  • A key operational role in a growing NDIS provider
  • Supportive and experienced management team
  • Structured onboarding and training in our internal systems
  • Local office environment with approachable managers
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Development opportunities across rostering, operations, and service delivery
  • A team culture that values accuracy, communication, and getting things done properly

Mandatory Requirements

To be considered, applicants must hold or be willing to obtain:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Working With Children Check – NSW and VIC
  • Current NSW & Victorian Police Check
  • Current driver licence
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module: “Quality, Safety and You”

COVID vaccination wording has been removed from this version. If there are specific participant/site requirements later, they can be handled during recruitment or onboarding rather than sitting in the advert.
