Tech Lead - 12‑month contract, Sydney (Hybrid)
Join a progressive local government organisation driving digital capability and innovation. As Tech Lead, you'll provide solution architecture design, oversee enterprise application development, and ensure platforms remain efficient and secure. With hybrid working (3 days in office, 2 from home), this role offers both impact and flexibility in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead solution architecture design and present to governance boards
- Manage and maintain enterprise application platforms
- Oversee technical deliverables across digital programmes
- Develop and implement system changes within budget and timeframes
- Mentor and support technical staff while ensuring quality standards
Must have:
- 10+ years' .NET development experience
- Strong background in enterprise application development
- Expertise in hybrid cloud and on‑premise infrastructure
- Competency in technical project management and CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Nice to have:
- Experience in government or corporate environments
- Familiarity with security architecture review processes
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and analytical business case writing
- Exposure to managing development and production environments
