Senior Trade Marketing Manager
12 Month Fixed Term Contract | Sydney
Our client is a globally recognised organisation at the forefront of textile innovation and sustainability. With a footprint spanning the global apparel value chain, they partner with designers, manufacturers, retailers and industry bodies to champion performance, versatility and design excellence across the fashion and textile industry. Reporting to the Global Comms and Content Manager, this is a high-impact, hands-on role for an experienced trade marketer who thrives across multiple concurrent projects. You will own the marketing strategy across a portfolio of flagship trade platforms and programs, working closely with Product Innovation, Certification, Regional Marketing and Content teams to position the brand as the global authority in its category.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading brand and marketing strategy for a new digital sourcing platform
- Overseeing a global trade content and EDM strategy, including editorial planning and performance measurement
- Partnering with internal teams to deliver a marketing and communications program for a flagship industry education initiative
- Developing the annual editorial strategy and publication calendar for trade and technical content
- Coordinating marketing and stakeholder engagement across major brand initiatives, including an international design award and a global design week activation
- Partnering with the Trade Show team to deliver marketing and brand collateral across global trade exhibitions
- Building strong cross-functional relationships and managing external creative agencies and suppliers
About You
- Minimum 7 years' experience in a marketing and communications role, ideally with trade or B2B marketing exposure
- Fashion, apparel or textile industry knowledge preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, global environment
- Strong content and editorial planning experience
- Confident managing agencies, suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Intermediate+ skills across Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- A self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude and the flexibility to take on more responsibility over time
