Supply and Distribution Manager

NUV Bunguma Pty Ltd is seeking a Supply and Distribution Manager for its Ampol Bungama fuel and convenience retail site in Warnertown, SA. The role is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain and distribution operations for both fuel and convenience store products.

Key duties include:

· Managing fuel and convenience store inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimising waste and holding costs;

· Coordinating with fuel suppliers, wholesalers, and logistics providers to schedule deliveries and maintain uninterrupted supply to the retail site;

· Overseeing daily distribution operations, including receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards;

· Analysing supply chain data (sales trends, fuel volume, stock turnover) to forecast demand and adjust procurement strategies accordingly;

· Liaising with the Area Manager and Retail Store Manager to align distribution schedules with retail sales peaks and promotional activities;

· Managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and resolving supply discrepancies or delivery issues;

· Ensuring all distribution activities comply with relevant regulations, including fuel handling and storage requirements.

Skills and Experience Required:

· Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or distribution management, preferably within the fuel, retail, or FMCG sector;

· Strong understanding of inventory management systems and demand forecasting;

· Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts;

· Knowledge of Australian workplace health and safety regulations, particularly in fuel handling contexts;

· Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills;

· Relevant qualification in supply chain management, logistics, or business is desirable.
