Storeperson
- Seeking experienced Stores/Warehouse Operators for various organisations in Brisbane.
- Duties include despatch/receipt management, coordination of delivery trucks, and packing orders.
- Positions offer immediate start with potential transition to permanent after 3 months.
We are seeking an experienced Stores / Warehouse Operators numerous opportunities with some great organisations across Brisbane. We have vacancies in Meadowbrook, Richlands, Berrinba, Darra and Pinkenba to name a few.
The positions offer an immediate start in an ongoing casual nature with the view to transition to permanent after 3 months.
Duties include:
- Responsible for all despatch/receipt requirements.
- Coordination of the delivery trucks.
- Booking, scheduling, and management of freight for materials despatching to site.
- Packing of orders for transport.
- Management of delivery dockets and paperwork for dispatching equipment and goods.
- Unload, check, and complete paperwork for incoming goods in a timely manner.
- Liaison and coordination with customers who collect goods on site.
- Utilising the forklift in accordance with duties.
- Day shift Monday to Friday.
Who we are looking for:
- Relevant and demonstrated experience in a similar position.
- Forklift license.
- Valid Australian Driver’s License.
- Ability to safely conduct manual lifting (upto 20kg).
- Demonstrated customer service experience.
- Strong clerical experience using MS Office.
- Ability to work to deadlines and available for overtime when required.
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team within a busy environment.
- High level of initiative and determination to achieve goals and targets.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Have a strong understanding of adherence to WHS requirements.
- Willing to learn.
- Ability to take instruction from supervisors and management.
- Honest, reliable, and punctual.
- Permission to work in Australia.
