Kogan People Solutions, recruiters, are working with a well-established and reputable caravan manufacturer known for delivering high-quality, custom-built caravans tailored to meet the highest standards of comfort, durability and design. They produce custom and standard touring caravans designed for leisure travel, family road trips, and off-road camping across Australia. Their range ranges from luxury, affordable and practical, catering successfully to a broad market.
As part of their growing customer base and expanding operations, they are now seeking an experienced and reliable Cabinet Maker to join their dynamic production team. Your work will be essential in ensuring their customers enjoy a stylish and robust mobile living experience. The role is full-time and ongoing.
Location – Campbellfield Vic
Salary on offer – in the range $80k to $85k plus superannuation per annum
The duties and responsibilities of the position will include:
- Manufacture, assemble, and install cabinets, fixtures, and fittings specific to caravan interiors with precision and accuracy meeting the design specifications.
- Read, interpret, and examine technical drawings, plans, work orders, and cutting lists.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools on various materials such as timber, veneers, particle boards, and other wood products.
- Apply protective coatings to the cabinets and fittings.
- Collaborate with production and design teams to maintain quality and consistency.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to OH&S requirements.
To be considered for this role you should be able to positively address the following attributes:
- Qualified to relevant Certificate IV or agreed equivalent with all necessary cards.
- At least 1 year, preferably more, of experience in cabinet making since you gained your qualifications, ideally in a similar environment.
- Verifiable excellent cabinet making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship.
- Working knowledge of, and ability to use, a variety of hand and power tools to manufacture and assemble cabinets.
- Solid OH&S awareness and be physically fit.
- Happy team member keen to get the job done, on time, to high standards.
- Keen to be employed on a full-time salaried basis (so the role is not suitable for subcontractors).
You must have unrestricted full time Australian working rights.
