You’ll provide hands-on application support, investigate incidents and problems, and coordinate changes and releases into live environments. Working across technical and non-technical teams, you’ll translate complex issues into practical solutions and help deliver a seamless experience for the people who rely on our systems.
You’ll also contribute to disaster recovery activities, maintain clear support documentation and identify opportunities to continuously improve our applications, processes and services. Your ability to build trusted relationships will help you work effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.

This role is a permanent opportunity and is based in Brisbane.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Provide maintenance and support services for business-critical applications.
  • Manage application support processes, procedures and documentation.
  • Respond to incidents by prioritising, diagnosing and investigating issues.
  • Coordinate timely incident resolution, escalation, recovery and closure.
  • Analyse recurring issues and complete root cause investigations.
  • Support application availability and performance against agreed service levels.
  • Develop, document and test disaster recovery arrangements and procedures.
  • Assist with software configuration across new and existing environments.
  • Test application changes, document faults and coordinate retesting.
  • Package, build, test and deploy releases into live environments.
  • Contribute to release planning, scheduling and process improvement.
  • Guide clients and team members in the effective use of business systems.
  • Provide specialist advice and complete technical tasks within your area of expertise.
  • Build trusted relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Work with vendors on system support, maintenance and development activities.
  • Identify, assess and escalate technology risks in line with our Risk Management framework.
  • Contribute ideas that improve team processes, application reliability and customer outcomes.

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

  • You have an understanding of the full software development lifecycle and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Your financial services or superannuation experience would be highly regarded.
