About the Role
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be involved in:
- Software development
- Robot programming
- PLC & Safety PLC Programming
- Working closely with internal electrical trade staff
- On-site installations both nationally and internationally
- Projects from conception to execution
- Project completion and sign off
- Post project customer support
- Multiple projects at different stages
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Software Engineering would be desirable
Experience
- Strong knowledge of programming languages
- Experience in Automation/controls, PLC Programming, Robot Programming and/or Manufacturing industries is advantageous
- Experience with Solid Edge and/or other 3D CAD packages is advantageous
