About the role
This is a permanent full time position. Located in Broken Hill with some outreach work.
The Service Manager, MMHC Far West provides day-to-day leadership to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring efficient, effective, safe and high-quality management and clinical service delivery. Working closely with the Clinical Lead, broader team and external stakeholders, the role supports person-centred, recovery-focused, evidence-based and innovative clinical and psychosocial services that achieve strong outcomes for consumers.
The service will operate seven days a week and candidates should be flexible and available to work on a rostered basis, including on weekends and outside of normal business hours, as needed.

Duties
- Lead a multidisciplinary team delivering the Far West Medicare Mental Health Centre.
- Drive safe, high-quality, person-centred and recovery-focused service delivery.
- Build strong partnerships and pathways that improve access for the local community.
Skills & Experience
- Qualifications as an allied mental health professional and current registration with the relevant credentialling body, or relevant skills, qualifications and experience in mental health services and health services management.
- Previous experience in health, mental health or community service management roles, including budget, reporting, compliance and service performance responsibilities.
- Demonstrated leadership experience of a multidisciplinary team, including planning, performance monitoring, role clarity, accountability, collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
