Senior Project Manager
- Oversee delivery of four industrial construction projects across Melbourne’s northern and western suburbs, managing project teams, budgets, programmes and subcontractors.
- Manage contracts, procurement, variations, progress claims, financial reporting, risks, safety, quality and compliance across multiple sites.
- Lead relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders, providing project updates and ensuring milestones are achieved.
The Opportunity
An established commercial builder is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of four industrial construction projects across Melbourne's northern and western suburbs.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-regarded builder with a strong pipeline of industrial projects, including warehouses, logistics facilities and associated office developments.
The successful candidate will have oversight of multiple projects simultaneously, with Site Managers and the wider delivery team reporting in to them to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the delivery teams on four industrial construction projects at various stages of development.
- Manage project budgets, contracts, programs, procurement and subcontractor performance.
- Coordinate project teams to ensure successful delivery across multiple sites.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
- Oversee contract administration, variations, progress claims and financial reporting.
- Identify and manage project risks, ensuring high standards of safety, quality and compliance.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management, ensuring key milestones are achieved.
About You:
- Minimum 5–8 years' experience in commercial or industrial construction, with demonstrated Project Manager experience.
- Proven track record delivering industrial projects, including warehouses, distribution centres or logistics facilities.
- Experience overseeing multiple projects concurrently will be highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of industrial construction methodology, including structural steel, concrete panels, civil works and building services.
- Excellent commercial acumen, programming and subcontractor management skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead multiple project teams effectively.
