We are working with a leading mining client seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their projects team in a FIFO capacity. In this role, you will coordinate all procurement activities for the electrical scope of work, supporting project delivery and ensuring vendor engagement runs smoothly.

This position offers a 6-month contract, flying in and out of site from Brisbane, Townsville, or Cairns. You will work closely with engineering and project teams to source materials, manage purchase orders, and maintain accuracy in the Pronto system.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activities for electrical project packages - Manage vendor relationships and oversee purchase order processes - Ensure timely delivery of materials and compliance with procurement standards - Maintain data integrity and reporting within the Pronto system - Collaborate with project and site teams to meet operational schedules

About you

• Proven background in procurement or supply chain within mining or heavy industry - Strong understanding of electrical equipment and materials - Proficiency in the Pronto system (or similar ERP software) - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Ability to work in a dynamic, site-based project environment
