Our client is a leading private investment firm with an established private credit business providing secured debt capital to mid-market businesses. Drawing on its private equity heritage and deep investment expertise, the credit platform differentiates itself through an integrated model that connects investing, risk management and portfolio oversight, supporting informed capital allocation and strong investment outcomes.

As the business continues to scale, an Investment Analyst is sought to work directly with a Senior Investment Director in developing the platform’s portfolio management and analytics capability. The Director brings a diverse background spanning multi-strategy credit portfolio management, stressed and distressed investing across corporates, structured credit and commercial real estate, high-yield and leveraged loan analysis and trading, commodity derivatives risk management and audit. This breadth of experience is reflected in the role, which offers close involvement in investment decision-making and exposure across the full credit platform.

Responsibilities will include developing analysis to inform portfolio construction, capital allocation, risk management and fund performance, alongside financial modelling, return forecasting, risk reporting, investment committee preparation, investor materials and data analytics. The successful candidate will also help improve the tools and processes that underpin the platform, contributing directly to its ongoing development and scalability.

We are seeking a smart, curious and motivated individual with strong analytical aptitude, a willingness to learn and the initiative to take ownership of problems and develop practical solutions. This opportunity will suit someone keen to make a meaningful contribution to the growth and development of a funds management platform, with a hands-on, can-do attitude and the ability to manage a varied workload across multiple priorities. Candidates will likely come from financial services or investment-related roles, with strong analytical skills, quantitative aptitude and experience in data management particularly valued. The ability to think commercially, work through complex problems and continually identify ways to improve and build capability will be key to success.
