About Our Client:
Our client is a supplier of personal protective equipment (PPE), industrial supplies and equipment, supporting customers across a range of industries. They are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Delivery Driver / Storeperson to join their team in Kalgoorlie.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a current forklift licence and driver's licence to join a busy warehouse and delivery operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering PPE, industrial supplies and equipment to customers throughout the Kalgoorlie region, while assisting with warehouse operations, stock control and general stores duties.
What You Will Be Doing:
As a Delivery Driver / Storeperson, you will be responsible for completing local deliveries and collections, handling stock and supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. You will use a company vehicle to transport goods safely and efficiently while providing a high level of customer service to clients.
Your duties will include:
Delivering PPE, industrial supplies and equipment to customers throughout the Kalgoorlie region
Loading and unloading stock, pallets and customer orders using a forklift and manual handling techniques
Transferring stock between the West Kalgoorlie branch and customer sites as required
Collecting materials, consumables and general supplies from local businesses and suppliers
Assisting with receipting, organising and maintaining warehouse stock levels
Conducting pre-start vehicle inspections and ensuring goods are transported safely
Providing professional customer service during deliveries and collections
Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate stock movement records
Assisting with general warehouse, stores and yard duties as required
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
Roster:
Monday to Friday roster (hours to be confirmed)
Local deliveries throughout the Kalgoorlie region
Day-to-day work across delivery, warehouse and stores operations
What You Will Need:
Current Forklift Licence
Current C Class Driver's Licence (Automatic)
Ability to complete manual handling and lifting tasks
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
Reliable, organised and able to work independently throughout the day
A positive attitude and willingness to assist with general warehouse duties
Preferred:
Previous experience in delivery driving, warehousing or storeperson duties
Experience operating a forklift to load and unload stock
Familiarity with industrial supplies, PPE or warehouse stock control
Previous experience completing local deliveries and collections
Good knowledge of the Kalgoorlie region
