Our client is a well-established business operating within the industrial and resources sector, seeking a reliable and experienced Yard Hand / Forklift Operator to join their team in Mackay.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong yard, warehouse and materials-handling experience looking for a stable role with an established organisation.
What You Will Be Doing
Operating forklifts to load, unload and move materials around the yard
Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
Organising and maintaining stock and materials within the yard
Assisting with general yard duties and manual handling
Preparing materials and equipment for delivery or collection
Ensuring the yard remains clean, safe and organised
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
Working effectively as part of a team
What You Will Need
Current Forklift Licence (LF)
Previous forklift operating experience
Previous yard, warehouse or industrial experience
Ability to safely load, unload and move materials
Good communication and teamwork skills
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties
Reliable and punctual work ethic
Current driver's licence is highly regarded
