Our client is a successful Western Australian ASX-Listed gold producer. They are looking for an experienced Leading Hand – Underground Service Crew to join a one of their successful mining operations in the Northern Goldfields, FIFO from Perth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the Service Crew to complete scheduled and breakdown maintenance across underground infrastructure;
- Delegate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure work is completed to a high standard and on time;
- Provide hands-on leadership, coaching, and training to develop team capability;
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, recommend solutions, and liaise with relevant stakeholders;
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with site procedures and environmental standards.
Position Duties:
- Previous Leading Hand or supervisory experience;
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability;
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team;
- Current manual C Class Driver’s Licence;
- Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices.
