Programmed Apprenticeships & Traineeships, in partnership with our client, is looking for motivated individuals to join the team as Apprentice Mechanical Fitters based in Kilkenny, SA.
This is a fantastic entry-level opportunity where you'll earn great wages, complete a nationally recognised qualification and gain hands-on experience alongside experienced tradespeople.

What You'll Learn
Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll develop the skills to:
- Maintain, repair and install mechanical equipment
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Assist with fault finding and mechanical repairs
- Work with machinery and mechanical components
- Help keep equipment operating safely and reliably
- Complete practical on-the-job training alongside your TAFE studies
No previous mechanical fitting experience is required - we're looking for people with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
About You

- Are reliable, hardworking and keen to learn
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enjoy problem-solving and taking on new challenges
- Are committed to completing your apprenticeship and required TAFE training
- Can demonstrate teamwork through work, school, team sports or group activities
- Hold a Certificate II Pre-Apprenticeship in Engineering - highly regarded, but not essential
- Are willing to obtain/provide a National Police Clearance
- Can pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
Location & Travel
Your apprenticeship will be based in Kilkenny, SA, however you may work across the Adelaide region throughout your apprenticeship to gain broader trade experience.
There may also be opportunities for occasional travel or working away on projects as required by the business.
