Beehiva Homes Pty Ltd is an established residential construction company based in Altona North, Victoria. We are seeking an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team on a full-time basis.

Employment Type: Full-time (38 hours per week)
Salary: $85,000 per annum plus superannuation
About the Role
The successful applicant will undertake wall and floor tiling across residential construction projects and will be responsible for completing all work to a high standard of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Examine plans, measure areas and determine tile layouts and material requirements.
- Prepare wall and floor surfaces for tiling, including cleaning, levelling and removing existing materials where required.
- Measure, mark and cut tiles to the required size and shape.
- Apply adhesives, mortar and other bonding materials to prepared surfaces.
- Lay ceramic, porcelain, stone and other wall and floor tiles in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Ensure tiles are correctly aligned, level and evenly spaced.
- Apply grout and sealants and complete finishing work to a high standard.
- Undertake waterproofing and surface preparation associated with tiling work where required.
- Repair and replace damaged or defective tiles.
- Read and interpret construction plans, drawings and specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant building requirements and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Maintain tools, equipment and a clean and safe work environment.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades on residential construction sites.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years of relevant work experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler.
- Demonstrated experience in residential wall and floor tiling.
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation, tile cutting, laying, grouting and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, measurements and specifications.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a construction team.
- Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Relevant trade qualification in wall and floor tiling is highly regarded.
