  • Our client is a new Medical practice in Tuncurry, NSW. Their goal is to provide the local community with comprehensive and compassionate health care.

    Our client has a strong focus on skin cancer checks and treatments. They care for patients of all ages and all medical needs by providing individual care, treatment options, advice and education.Skin Cancer diagnosis, treatment and surgery is a large focus of the care provided. Our practice prides itself on delivering a high standard of care within a family practice setting.

    We are looking for a casual RN to join our great team.

    You must possess:
    - a great work ethic
    - an ability to work in a team but also individually
    - a current AHPRA registration
    - a current working with children check
    - great computer skills
    - great communication and people skills
    - attention to detail
    - experience in CDM.

    Ideally you have experience working within a primary care setting or similar environment and be willing to do additional shifts as required.

    Key criteria

    • Registered General Nurse holding unconditional Division 1 registration issued by the AHPRA;
    • Experience working in a primary health care setting;
    • Experience working with older people and people with chronic illnesses
    • Excellent communications skills both verbal & written
    • Possess good word processing skills

    Personal Qualifications

    • Maintain high standards of personal presentation appropriate to the Practice image.
    • Must be competent in interpreting & executing Doctors orders and in observing patient’s progress.
    • Possess an empathetic nature to communicate appropriately with patients and their families
    • Must have sound organisational skills
    • Must be conscientious and loyal.
    • Must possess good interpersonal skills and to be able to work in harmony with members of the Nursing, Medical & Clerical staff.
    • Must be able to work as part of a team or with minimal assistance
    • Must be able to accept responsibility.
