Job Description

• Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Month-end and year-end close processes
• Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of the general ledger
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Preparation of statutory and compliance reporting
• Support audit requirements and liaise with external auditors
• Cash flow monitoring and reporting
• Review and improve financial processes and controls
• Partner with operational stakeholders to provide financial insights and support
• Ad hoc finance projects as required

The Successful Applicant

• CA or CPA qualification (or near completion)
• Previous experience in a Financial Accountant or similar role
• Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
• Advanced Excel capabilities and experience with ERP/accounting systems
• Ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High levels of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail
• Experience within the not-for-profit, healthcare, aged care, community services, or government sectors will be viewed favourably, although not essential
