Job Description:We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home and Community Care Worker to join our team on a casual basis. As a care worker, you will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals in their homes and communities to help them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assisting with household tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry
- Accompanying clients to appointments and social outings
- Following care plans and reporting any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
Requirements:
- Full Australian Drivers License
- Police check
- Working with children check
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassion and empathy for others
- Reliability and punctuality
