We are seeking an experienced developer to drive various initiatives connected to ML, stream processing and search/vector infrastructure areas.
Responsibilities
- Designing the overarching technical architecture and technical specifications to meet business goals and requirements
- Developing software to meet technical requirements and specifications
- Testing, debugging, diagnosing and correcting faults in code within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards
- Writing and maintaining program code in accordance with system requirements, system designs and technical specifications
- Leading and mentoring a team of developers, including code review and engineering standards
Essential skills and experience
At least 5 years' commercial software development experience managing a team of developers
- Expert-level TypeScript and Python
- Formal training in mathematics or a closely related quantitative discipline
- Experience administering large-scale search indexing clusters
- Agile delivery using Git, Jira and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong written and verbal communication in English
