Our pharmacy provides a broad range of professional health services, including medication management, vaccinations, sleep health services and support for the local community.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Dispensary Technician looking to become part of a community pharmacy where you can use your skills, contribute to a busy team and make a positive difference to the customers we care for

The Role:

This is a full-time opportunity offering 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

As a Dispensary Technician, you will be an integral part of our pharmacy team, responsible for the accurate dispensing of medications and supporting various administrative tasks. Your role will involve close collaboration with pharmacists to ensure effective prescription preparation, stock management, and superior customer service. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will be key in maintaining TerryWhite Chemmart's standards.

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers promptly.
• Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Manage inventory, including stock monitoring and ordering as needed.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding prescription processing and wait times.
• Assist in promoting pharmacy services, including care clinic services and rewards programs.

About You:

• Previous experience as a Dispensary Technician in a community pharmacy environment.
• Strong attention to detail, with a solid understanding of pharmacy processes and associated administrative tasks
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities and collaborate effectively across various roles
• Customer-focused approach, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional patient care
• Positive, proactive, and resourceful mindset
• Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on customer service
• Experience in inventory management and a good understanding of pharmacy operations
• Proficiency with prescription processing and inventory management
