Senior Fund Accountant (6 Month Contract - View to Permanacy)

The Organisation
My client is a large fund manager, with a presence across Australia. They are currently looking to hire an experienced Fund Accountant on a six-month contract basis with a view to permanency.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Prepare daily bank and GL reconciliations for fund applications and redemption accounts.
- Investigate and clear reconciliation items within required timeframes and escalate where appropriate.
- General communications and liaison with Custodians and Banks.
- Processing of Management fee rebates
- Assist with daily unit pricing.
- Assist with half year and end of year projects.
- Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders
The Candidate
- 5+ years of experience working as a fund accountant or a unit pricing specialist
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/Accounting & Finance would be desirable.
- Holds a chartered accounting qualification.
- Strong numerical and quantitative skills.
- Immediately Available.
