Our Client, TKM Engineering Pty Ltd is a local family-owned business operating in Gunnedah and surrounds since 2009. TKM Engineering undertakes the repair and maintenance of large mobile earthmoving equipment in both workshop and on multiple local mine sites. Employment opportunities Multiple positions exist for immediate start in their workshop for Welders/Metal Fabricators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reading and understanding blueprints and job specifications.
- Measuring, cutting, and preparing metal parts and materials.
- Shaping, bending, and assembling metal sections and pipes.
- Joining metal parts by welding, bolting, or riveting.
- Checking and cleaning welds to ensure quality.
- Grinding, polishing, and finishing metal surfaces.
- May program machinery or computer-aided fabrication tools to optimize the metal fabrication process
Qualification:
- Relevant experience or qualifications for a similar role
- Australian Citizens & Permanent Residents only
