About the Apprenticeship

As a Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople and gain valuable hands-on experience across both commercial and residential environments.

You will be exposed to a diverse range of work, including:

• Installation, servicing and maintenance of commercial and residential air-conditioning and refrigeration systems
• Assisting experienced tradespeople with fault finding, servicing and repairs
• Locating and rectifying faults in refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment
• Using power and hand tools safely and effectively
• Testing components and making modifications
• Developing strong workplace health and safety awareness
• Repair and maintenance of commercial refrigeration equipment
• Gaining experience with air dryer repairs and maintenance while working alongside qualified tradespeople
