Job Description
- Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements and external reporting requirements
- Oversee month-end and year-end financial accounting processes
- Manage technical accounting matters and provide expert accounting advice
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities
- Drive improvements across financial controls, governance, and compliance frameworks
- Lead and mentor finance professionals within a collaborative team environment
- Partner with senior stakeholders to support informed decision-making
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and finance transformation projects
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information across the organisation
The Successful Applicant
You'll be a technically strong accounting professional who combines attention to detail with the ability to influence and lead others.
Ideally you'll bring:
- CA or CPA qualification
- Strong financial accounting and statutory reporting experience
- A background within government, large corporates, or other complex organisations
- Experience managing audits and navigating technical accounting issues
- Proven leadership or team management capability
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
