About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Business Partner to join our flour mill, feed mill and corporate head office teams at our site in Enfield, Sydney.
One of our key values is Safety. In this role you will champion this by working closely with business leaders. As Enfield's HSE BP you will create an environment where safety is front of mind and drives the way the team completes their tasks and duties.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Supporting implementation of the GWF culture of safety program at the Enfield site
- Collecting adequate environmental data KPI'S and entering relevant data monthly
- Investigating incidents and patterns identified as appropriate
- Managing workplace injury and the social and economic harm caused by workplace illness and injury.
- Overseeing implementation of the injury management (I CARE) program for the team.
About You
As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have at least 3 years' experience in a similar position, preferably within a manufacturing environment, and formal HSE qualifications (Cert IV minimum, or equivalent, with further qualifications advantageous).
This is a hands-on position where you will enjoy ensuring that you are consistently visible on the production floor, working closely with the team at Enfield.
To be successful in this role you will also have:
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, proven capability influencing outcomes and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience in identifying and deploying safety related process improvement initiatives.
- A passion for providing expert advice, supporting and coaching people at all levels to drive improved risk management practices
