Junior Legal & Compliance Advisor – Specialist Insurance

An exciting opportunity for a Junior Legal professional to join a rapidly expanding specialist insurance business, with excellent opportunities for career development and progression.
This is a unique role for someone with a law degree who enjoys investigating issues, solving problems and working through complex matters. The position is focused on compliance, complaints, disputes and investigations, rather than traditional legal contract work.
The Role
Working closely with the senior team, you will be involved in:
- Managing and investigating internal and external complaints
- Assisting with disputes and investigations
- Reviewing matters from a compliance and regulatory perspective
- Researching legislation, regulations and relevant industry requirements
- Identifying potential compliance issues and assisting with solutions
- Preparing reports, correspondence and investigation outcomes
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Providing general legal and compliance support to the business
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- A Law Degree and an interest in developing a career in legal, compliance or risk
- Excellent research and written communication skills
- A highly analytical and inquisitive mind
- Strong attention to detail
- The confidence to investigate issues and ask questions
- The ability to objectively assess information and identify potential risks
- A professional and practical approach to problem-solving
