About the Role 

Our client is seeking a qualified light vehicle automotive mechanic for their busy workshop. You’ll carry out automotive mechanical servicing, diagnosis, and repairs of motor vehicle brakes, steering, suspension, and under-car systems in line with industry best practices and quality standards. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for managing parts and products and selling these to customers.

  • Service, diagnose and repair various vehicles
  • Manage and sell automotive parts and products

About You

You provide the highest level of customer service, are proud of your craft, and have a good understanding of sales techniques. You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a knack for problem-solving, and the ability to work unsupervised, either individually or in a team environment. You’re competent in the service, diagnosis and repair of the brakes, steering, suspension and under car systems on various motor vehicles. 

Required Qualifications/Skills

  • Certificate III Qualification in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent
  • Tradesperson’s Certificate
  • The successful candidate must be able to pass Skill Testing and IELTS English testing
