Roofing Supervisor

The Role

We are partnering with a well-established commercial roofing contractor that has secured a significant portfolio of upcoming work and is continuing to expand across South East Queensland. Due to confirmed project commitments, we are seeking a hands-on Roofing Supervisor to lead site operations and deliver high-quality outcomes.

While this position will be Brisbane-based long term, the successful candidate will initially support projects in Hervey Bay for approximately 6 - 8 weeks  before transitioning into Brisbane and surrounding regional projects.

You will lead commercial roofing projects, supervise crews and subcontractors, and ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard. We are looking for a hands-on supervisor who enjoys leading from the front and isn't afraid to jump in and support the team when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate subcontractor roofing crews on site. 
• Ensure roofing works are completed in accordance with Australian Standards, manufacturer specifications, Building Code requirements, and project quality expectations. 
• Maintain a strong focus on waterproofing integrity and workmanship quality. 
• Conduct regular quality inspections and identify defects before project completion. 
• Monitor project progress against programme and proactively address delays. 
• Manage site safety requirements and ensure compliance with WHS obligations. 
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships. 
• Maintain accurate project records and site documentation. 
• Operate independently while contributing to overall project success. 

The Candidate 

• Proven experience supervising commercial roofing projects. 
• Strong leadership and people management skills. 
• Sound understanding of commercial roofing systems and installation practices.
• Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities. 
• A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. 
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
• Current White Card. 
• Current Driver Licence.
