Location: Darwin City
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer for an ongoing temporary opportunity based in Darwin City. This is a great opportunity for someone with payroll experience who is confident working in a fast-paced environment and can provide accurate and reliable payroll support.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing weekly and/or fortnightly payroll
- Reviewing timesheets and payroll information
- Processing new starters, employee changes and terminations
- Calculating leave, allowances, overtime and other adjustments
- Maintaining accurate employee and payroll records
- Assisting with superannuation and payroll deductions
- Responding to payroll queries
- Completing payroll reconciliations and reporting
- Working closely with Finance and HR teams
- General payroll administration and data entry
About You
- Previous payroll experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good numerical and problem-solving skills
- Confident using payroll systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
- Ability to meet payroll deadlines
- Professional communication skills and ability to work with confidential information
