Facilities Coordinator

KEY POINTS WE FOUND
  • Coordinate reactive and preventative maintenance, work orders, inspections and contractor activity across a portfolio of residential and commercial properties.
  • Support refurbishments, fit-outs and property improvement projects, including quotes, scopes, timelines, quality checks and handovers.
  • Maintain compliance and records, monitor expenditure, and work with residents, customers, contractors and internal stakeholders.

Vertaview Group is seeking a proactive and organised Facilities Coordinator to join our property team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of approximately 150 residential and commercial properties, helping maintain and improve our assets while creating safe, functional and welcoming environments across a diverse property portfolio.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role where you will take ownership of facilities coordination, contractor management, and maintenance delivery across the portfolio. You'll work primarily from our Brisbane CBD office, with occasional travel to our Eight Mile Plains office and other property locations.

Working as part of a collaborative property team, you'll play a key role in keeping our portfolio operating effectively. From coordinating reactive maintenance and managing work orders to overseeing contractors, supporting property improvement projects, and engaging with residents and internal stakeholders, no two days will be the same.

While maintenance coordination forms an important part of the role, you'll also have the opportunity to support commercial fit outs and refurbishments, coordinate planned improvement works, undertake property inspections, and contribute to projects that enhance our property portfolio.

This role will suit someone who enjoys building strong relationships, solving problems, and seeing projects through from start to finish. You'll be highly organised, adaptable, and confident working with a broad range of stakeholders, including contractors, operational teams, residents, customers, and senior leaders. If you enjoy variety, accountability, and making a tangible impact, we'd love to hear from you.

About Your New Role

  • Commercial property & projects: Support property improvement works, commercial refurbishments, fit-outs, and planned maintenance projects.
  • Project coordination: Assist with defining work scopes, obtaining quotes, coordinating contractors, monitoring progress, managing timelines and facilitating project handovers.
  • Compliance & safety: Support the delivery of WHS activities and ensure properties and works align with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Work collaboratively with the property team, operational leaders, senior executives, residents, customers and external service providers.
  • Systems & reporting: Maintain accurate records, coordinate work orders, monitor expenditure and contribute to improving processes and service delivery.

  • Access to employee discounts across shopping, dining, and travel.
  • Opportunity to work across a diverse and meaningful property portfolio including SIL, SDA, residential, and commercial properties.
  • A role where you'll see the direct impact of your work in improving environments for our customers and teams.
