About the Opportunity
Intro Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established civil construction company seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join their growing team in Ipswich, QLD.
This opportunity is ideal for an engineer with proven experience in civil subdivisions, bulk earthworks and road construction, working closely with the Project Manager to deliver civil infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating and delivering civil subdivision projects.
- Oversee earthworks, road construction, drainage and associated infrastructure.
- Manage engineering documentation, design reviews and construction drawings.
- Coordinate subcontractors, site personnel, plant and procurement.
- Monitor project costs, forecasting, reporting and variations.
- Manage quality assurance, ITPs, inspections and compliance.
- Resolve technical challenges and mentor junior engineers.
- Ensure compliance with WHS, environmental requirements and Australian Standards.
About You
- Minimum 5 years of project engineering experience in civil construction.
- Proven experience delivering civil subdivision projects is essential.
- Strong knowledge of earthworks, roadworks, drainage and underground services.
- Experience in construction programming, cost control and contract administration.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project and ERP systems.
- Relevant Civil Engineering qualifications will be highly regarded.
