We are seeking a passionate and experienced Landscape Gardener to join the dynamic team at Nandal Pty Ltd.
As a Landscape Gardener, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining various landscaping projects, including creating seedbeds, planting, and installing lawns and artificial turf. Your expertise will be integral in enhancing both the aesthetic appeal and functional design of outdoor areas.
Qualifications and Experience
-AQF Certificate III, including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV.
-At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
-Proven experience of at least one year in landscaping, horticulture, or gardening roles.
-Sound knowledge of plant care, landscaping techniques, and turf management.
In this role your main responsibilities include:
- Design and prepare landscaping plans and schedules, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery.
-Prepare seedbeds and growing sites for planting.
-Plant trees, bushes, hedges, flowers, and bulbs in alignment with client specifications.
-Prepare lawn areas by spreading topsoil, planting grass seeds, and laying instant turf or artificial grass.
-Install and maintain hardscape features, including paving, patios, and garden edging.
-Monitor plant health, applying fertilizers, pesticides, and other treatments as necessary.
-Maintain garden beds, pruning plants, and removing weeds to ensure optimum growth and appearance.
-Operate machinery and tools, including lawnmowers, trimmers, and other specialized equipment.
-Select and source appropriate plants, materials, and products for each project.
-Conduct minor earthworks and soil preparation tasks.
-Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping goals and provide tailored solutions.
-Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
