The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will undertake varied work across road and footpath maintenance, capital works, special projects, cemeteries and general maintenance.
Responsibilities include:
- Concreting and civil maintenance activities
- Operating plant, machinery, tools and equipment
- Supporting road, footpath and infrastructure projects
- Completing minor equipment maintenance and operational records
- Assisting with community events and emergency activities when required
About You
You will be practical, safety-focused and comfortable working independently and as part of a team. You will have:
- Experience in concreting and operating plant or machinery
- A current SA HR Driver’s Licence
- A Construction Induction White Card
- Relevant plant and machinery competencies
- Workzone Traffic Management Accreditation and First Aid, or willingness to obtain them
- Civil Works or Local Government Operations qualifications and ChemCert certification will be highly regarded
