Our client is a market leader in their industry. Due to continued business growth and expansion in their Moss Vale workshop operations, we have an opportunity for a motivated Safety Advisor to join them in on a casual ongoing basis initially with the view to permanent for the right person
- Investigate any injuries, incidents and near misses and recommend appropriate corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with all company procedures, and regulatory and legislative requirements for Health and Safety
- Promoting a continuous improvement culture and implement best practice management systems in the workplace.
- Monitor daily site tasks and provide advice on risks and controls
- Assist with injury management and return to work activities
The skills required to be successful are:
- Minimum Certificate IV in WHS/OHS
- Minimum of 3 years practical experience in manufacturing, trades, construction, logistics, or FMCG industry
- Trades background including proven knowledge of Boilermakers, Fitters, Electricians and the applicable safety requirements involved
- Practical experience in developing and implementing Risk Management tools such as SWMS, SWI, JHA's and risk assessments/audits
- Well-developed written, oral, engagement, and relationship skills with the ability to influence.
