- Safely operate a forklift to load, unload and move goods within a warehouse.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, performing basic packing tasks, and assisting with general warehouse duties. This role is essential to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift safely to load and unload trucks.
- Move materials and products within the warehouse using a forklift.
- Perform basic packing duties, including packing products securely for shipment.
- Assist with receiving and organizing inventory in the warehouse.
- Ensure accurate and timely handling of goods to meet shipping schedules.
- Inspect forklifts daily and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize workflow.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a forklift driver in a warehouse environment.
- Valid forklift operator certification/license.
- Ability to perform basic packing duties with attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy items as required.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience with loading/unloading trucks.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Good communication skills.
