Registered Nurse | ED & Rural
- Competitive base rates (depending on experience level) plus super and penalties
- Multiple contract opportunities available from 9th November to 17th January 2027
- Must have recent Rural nursing and Emergency experience
- Mandatory: Emergency Triage Education Kit (ETEK)/Triage competency, Resuscitation, Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certificates
- Ability to team lead and manage a ward independently, including as the sole RN on shift.
- Previous experience working in Australia, particularly in QLD Health and/or Mackay HHS is desirable
- Travel and accommodation provided
- Applicants must be registered with AHPRA and hold working rights for Australia
Dysart Health Service is located in the Isaac Regional Shire in the town of Dysart, approximately 250kms south-west from Mackay. A journey which takes approximately 2.5 hours. It is a 9-bed hospital servicing surrounding mining towns with a 24-hour emergency department and a steady flow of outpatients.
