Valve & Fitting Australia is a family-owned and operated importer and distributor of quality pipes, fittings, flanges and valves. Based in Bibra Lake, Perth, we service customers across Australia and internationally, providing a comprehensive product range backed by personalised, reliable service.
We are currently looking for a reliable, hands-on Warehouse Operations team member to join our close-knit team in Bibra Lake.
About the role
This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys being active, working as part of a team and taking pride in getting the job done properly.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Picking and packing customer orders
- Preparing invoices and other documentation
- Arranging freight and dispatches
- Unloading containers and stocking shelves
- Threading pipe
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised warehouse
- Occasional deliveries and collections
- Serving and assisting customers with their requirements
- Carrying out quality and conformity checks
- Supporting the wider team with day-to-day warehouse operations
About you
While previous industry experience is preferred, it is not essential. We're happy to consider candidates from other industries who have the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate, including comprehensive training on our products, processes and systems to help you build your knowledge and confidence in the role.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- A good communicator with a customer-focused attitude
- Able to work well within a small team
- Organised and able to follow processes accurately
- Willing to learn and take on a variety of tasks
Essential requirements:
- Current forklift licence
- Valid driver's licence
You'll be joining a team of approximately 6-8 people in a practical, hands-on warehouse environment.
