Holiday Program Leader (Recruitment Pool)

The Town is seeking passionate individuals who love working with children to facilitate holiday program sessions which cover a variety of sports for 6 – 12 year olds during the school holidays.

This recruitment pool will be used to fill current and future opportunities. We’ll review applications on an ongoing basis, and if your skills and experience align with a role, we may contact you to discuss the next steps, including further assessment or an interview.

As vacancies may arise at different times, you may not hear from us right away. If you aren’t contacted immediately, please don’t be discouraged—your application will remain in the pool and may still be considered for suitable opportunities that become available during the life of the pool.

Your new role 

Our Holiday Program Leaders are responsible for assisting in the professional operation of our holiday program sessions at the Leisurelife Centre and maintaining a fun, caring, inclusive, safe, and friendly environment for all participants. They will operate in a positive manner and promote the Centre’s programs and values to the community.

What you’ll need to succeed 

  • Previous coaching or holiday program experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Passion for working with children
  • Passion for a variety of sports
  • Enthusiastic approach to work
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Current Working with Children Check

The benefits of working for us 

$47.98 per hour for a minimum two hour shift (including 25% casual loading), plus superannuation, free gym and pool membership.
