A well-established national Quantity Surveying consultancy is seeking a Mid to Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its Brisbane office.
With a strong reputation across the healthcare, residential, education and commercial sectors, the business has built long-standing relationships with repeat clients and continues to secure a steady pipeline of high-quality projects. Role Overview
This role is suited to a Quantity Surveyor with 3+ years' consultancy experience looking to take the next step in their career.
You'll work across both pre-contract and post-contract services, supporting the delivery of projects from early cost planning through to final account. Experience across high-rise residential and/or healthcare projects will be highly regarded. You'll work closely with experienced senior professionals while taking ownership of your own projects and developing your client-facing skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare cost plans, estimates and feasibility studies across all project stages
• Undertake quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities
• Manage tender documentation, procurement and tender evaluations
• Complete cost reporting, forecasting and financial analysis
• Assess variations, progress claims and final accounts
• Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors throughout project delivery
• Identify commercial risks and provide value engineering recommendations
• Support the successful delivery of multiple projects across a range of sectors
Skills & Experience
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• 3+ years' Quantity Surveying experience within a consultancy environment
• Experience across high-rise residential and/or healthcare projects
• Strong understanding of pre-contract and post-contract services
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• AIQS membership or working towards accreditation is highly regarded
