SENIOR JAVA FULL STACK DEVELOPER

Our client, a leading data services company, is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join their innovative technology team based in St Leonards, NSW.
In this pivotal role, you will leverage your years of software engineering experience to design, develop, and deploy complex enterprise-class systems that solve critical data challenges for global and governmental customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of software across multiple systems, focusing on Java (8+), Spring, React, and related technologies to build secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, sharing best practices and fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Drive adherence to technical standards, including architecture reviews and code quality evaluations.
- Participate actively in Agile processes such as sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and testing cycles.
- Collaborate with internal and external technology partners to deliver complex business solutions aligned with enterprise architectural standards.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, ensuring system reliability and user satisfaction.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the product architecture, incorporating advancements such as microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud technologies (Azure).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven expertise in Java 8+, Spring framework, JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, JSON, and optionally Go or Python.
- Strong object-oriented design skills and familiarity with design patterns.
- Experience with test-driven development methodologies.
- Knowledge of multiple data storage systems and complex data models.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently.
- Experience in containerization, microservices architecture, and Azure cloud tools is highly advantageous.
