Job Details ASX-Listed Financial Services | Melbourne | CA/CPA Qualified. Looking to take the next step in your accounting career with a high-performing, ASX-listed organisation? The Opportunity: Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory obligations. You'll also partner with stakeholders across the business to drive improvements and provide meaningful financial insights. Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly financial reports, reconciliations, journals and accruals; Deliver statutory financial reporting and regulatory reporting requirements; Assist with year-end financial statements and external audits; Provide monthly financial commentary, analysis and reporting insights; Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business; Identify, manage and escalate financial risks where appropriate; Maintain finance policies, procedures and supporting documentation; Ensure accurate financial transactions and cost centre allocations; and Support technical accounting matters and process improvement initiatives. About You: You are a technically capable financial accountant who enjoys working in a regulated environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality financial reporting. You'll bring: CA or CPA qualification; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce; Experience within an ASX-listed organisation; Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB/IFRS); Experience with statutory reporting and listed company governance requirements; Exposure to regulatory reporting, ideally APRA, ASIC or AUSTRAC; Previous experience within financial services, wealth management or funds management will be highly regarded. Experience with investment bonds or life insurance is an added advantage; and Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships. Why Apply?
