Security Analyst

• Location: Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, perth

We are seeking an experienced Security Analyst to join our team on a contract engagement. The successful candidate will support security and compliance initiatives, with a strong focus on the Australian Government Information Security Manual (ISM) and IRAP readiness activities.
Key Responsibilities
The Security Analyst will be responsible for delivering:

• ISM Gap Assessments
• System Security Plans (SSPs)
• Security Risk Assessments
• Remediation Roadmaps
• IRAP Readiness Determinations
• Security accreditation and compliance artefacts

Skills/ Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience conducting ISM Gap Assessments and IRAP Readiness Engagements
• Experience developing:
  • System Security Plans (SSPs)
  • Security Risk Assessments
  • Remediation Roadmaps
  • Accreditation and security compliance artefacts
• Strong understanding of the Australian Government security framework, including the ISM and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, documentation, and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deliverables within agreed timelines

Desirable

• Previous experience supporting IRAP assessments or working with IRAP assessors
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, or equivalent
